Adding ADD-ON card to pc

I think that someday or the other, we all fall short of some function in our pc. Some of us may want to add a tv tuner card, some might need to add extra usb ports.
Well in this post, I am going to teach you how to add a pci card.

Here are a few things you may need:-
1) Philips screw-driver

2)Add on card(USB, LAN, TV TUNER) "Any"

Steps:-
  1. Turn of the pc and open the case(refer to your pc manual)
  2. You will see some pci slots..

3. Now, There will be a covering infront, unscrew it and remove it.

4. Now carefully insert the add on card to one of the pci slots. Do not apply too much force to the board but make sure the card is fit perfectly and is sturdy. Also make sure that the ports are accessible from outside the casing, through the back.
5. Close the casing of the cpu and connect all the wires back, start up the pc and insert the driver disc which you got with the card. Install the drivers and you are ready to go........
